" OASIS OF THE SEAS "

EL NUEVO CRUCERO DE ROYAL CARIBBEAN

El más grande, innovador y espectacular crucero a nivel mundial.

Construído en los astilleros finlandeses STX Europe con un costo de 1000 millones de euros es una maravilla de la ingeniería naval. Incorporando las últimas innovaciones tecnológicas este buque puede producir su propia energía, potabilizar el agua, tratar los residuos e incluso abatir sus chimeneas para poder pasar bajo los puentes que separan el mar Báltico del océano Atlántico. Con un largo de 362 metros, 63 metros de ancho y 74 metros de alto y un peso de 220.000 toneladas, podrá navegar a una velocidad de 24 nudos. Tiene una capacidad de 5400 pasajeros y 2160 tripulantes y cuenta con 16 cubiertas.

El próximo 1 de Diciembre está previsto que inicie su viaje inaugural, un crucero de 4 días desde Fort Lauderdale con destino a Labadee (Haití). Luego ofrecerá cruceros de siete días por las islas del caribe. A finales de 2010, el "Oasis of the Seas" compartirá su liderazgo con un buque gemelo, el "Allure of the Seas", de idénticas dimensiones que se está construyendo en los mismos astilleros finlandeses para la Royal Caribbean.

Este nuevo barco ofrecerá a todos sus usuarios una forma de viajar totalmente nueva, con innovadoras zonas de diversión como: el Central Park, Boardwalk, el AquaTheater, áreas de piscinas y deportes, la Royal Promenade, Vitality Spa y Fitness Center, la Zona de Entretenimiento y la Zona Joven. Esta última posee una superficie de 2,669 metros cuadrados e incluye el Kids Avenue, un boulevar central que intercomunica los diferentes espacios dedicados a los niños con el Adventure Ocean y la guardería para los niños.

Get ready to relax and be entertained! The Royal Caribbean AquaTheater is truly a revolutionary idea that provides guests with an oversized pool to lounge out in during the day. And, at night the pool transforms into an outdoor entertainment venue that provides water, light and acrobatic shows. The AquaTheatre is located towards the end of the Boardwalk and will allows cuise passengers to enjoy a giant pool by day. Oasis of the Seas Boardwalk

The Oasis of the Seas Boardwalk is truly a place dedicated for family fun. Picture yourself in a boardwalk such as Coney Island in which you will enjoy the first ever Carousel at sea, cotton candy, games, Madame Zamara's Pyschic and Tattoo, Ice Cream Parlors, Johnny Rockets, Donut Shop, Seafood Shack and the groundbreaking AquaTheatre.

The AquaTheatre is located towards the end of the Boardwalk and will allows cuise passengers to enjoy a giant pool by day. At night, the AquaTheatre transforms into an entertainment venue that puts on water, light and acrobatic shows.

Oasis of the Seas Central Park

Central Park will feature distinctive neigborhoods with shops, restaurants and lounges of all types. No matter what your mood is, you will be sure to find something to your taste in Central Park. A wide variety of restaurants will be offered ranging from elegant dining to a more relaxed atmosphere. Seven different bars including the Rising Tide bar will be scattered all along Central Park. Central Park features serene pathways, seasonal flower gardens and canopy trees. Central Park is lined with balcony staterooms and extends an amazing six decks high. Central Park Brings the Outdoors In, Creating Open-air Neighborhood for Guests That Reaches to the Sky. With its revolutionary and innovative design, Central Park is located towards the center of the ship and features lush, tropical grounds spanning the length of an entire football field.

Oasis of the Seas Crystal Canopies

The Oasis of the Seas Crystal Canopies are two impressive arched glass domes. One canopy features a bar and the other is the central point of Central Park and also provides a glimpse into the ship's inner public venues.

Oasis of the Seas FlowRiders

Hang Ten Dude! Get ready to ride the waves on the Royal caribbean FlowRiders. With the extreme popularity of the FlowRider onboard the Freedom class cruise ships, Royal Caribbean will now be offering not one, but two FlowRiders onboard the Oasis of teh Seas.

These great surf simulators are located twoards the aft of the ship on the sports deck.

Oasis of the Seas Pool Deck

Never has a pool deck on a cruise ship looked so cool! The Oasis of the Seas pool deck overlooks the beautiful Central Park neigborhood. Guests can lounge out and soak up the sun as they peer down into Central Park.

The Oasis of the Seas pool deck / sports zone will offer 4 different pools and 10 whirlpools. The themed pools include the sports pool, beach pool, H20 Zone and main pool.

The sports pool will allow guests to stay active while they cool off in the water. Guests can swim laps or particpate in pool games such as pool basketball or volleyball.

The new beach pool allows guests to feel like they are at their favorite beach as they soak in the rays. The beach pool features a zero entry pool, several colorful lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The always popular H20 Zone pool is back. This great kids pool offers a wide variety of entertainment as they run and dodge the giant octopus which features water spouting tentacles.

The classic main pool received a classy remake with private cabanas available to shade you from that hot Caribbean sun.

Oasis of the Seas Rising Tide Bar
Need a lift? The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas will offer the first ever moving bar at sea. The Rising Tide bar will slowly ascend and descend three decks to allow cruise passengers the ability to enjoy a cocktail as they move through Central Park and various public spaces.

Oasis of the Seas Rock Walls

Royal Caribbean has stepped it up a notch. The Oasis of the Seas features dual rock walls that surround both sides of the AquaTheater.

Oasis of the Seas Royal Promenade



For those of you have been a fan of the Voyager or Freedom class Royal Promenades, well just wait until you exeperience the enhanced Oasis of the Seas Royal Promenade. Significantly larger in size, this Royal Promenade even offers mezzanine levels that allow cruise passengers to overlook the space below.

The Royal Promenade featuress several eateries and bars such as Sorrento's Pizzeria, Modo Coffee Bar, Cafe Promenade, Globe and Atlas Pub, Schooner Bar, Boleros Bar, Champagne Bar and the first ever moving bar at sea. Appropriately called the Rising Tide Bar, this bar will slowly ascend and descend three decks to allow cruise passengers the ability to enjoy a cocktail as they move through various public spaces onboard the Oasis of the Seas.

Oasis fe the Seas Solarium

Fans of the adult-only Solariums onboard the Royal Caribbean fleet will be in for quite a treat when they step onboard the Oasis of the Seas. The new two story Solarium is now located towards the front of this cruise ship and offers an amazing view of the ocean. The Solarium will feature cantilevered whirlpools, which overlook the ocean.

The Solarium will feature a bistro. In the morning and afternoon, light and healthy snacks will be offered. In the evening adults will be offered a casual dinner experience while also having the opportunity to visit the new adults only Solarium bar and nightclub.

Oasis of the Seas Sports Zone


Are you ready to break a sweat? The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas Sports Zone offers endless options for the individual that enjoys an active lifestyle or occasionally enjoys a good thrill.

The Sports Zone features a full basketball court, mini-golf, two FlowRider surf simulators, two rock climbing walls and the brand new Zip Line.

If you get hungry during all of this activity, guests may visit the wipeout bar & cafe located within the sports deck.



Are you ready to unwind and take care of yourself? Guests onboard the Oasis of the Seas will have the opportunity to visit the Vitality Spa & Fitness Center. The Oasis of the Seas will offer the largest and most state of art fitness center at sea. Guests will be able to enjoy from a wide variety of Asian inspired treatments in a variety of relaxation rooms. Multiple exercise classes will be offered. In addition to all of this relaxation, guests will be able to enjoy a healthy snack at the Vitality Café.

Category PR (Promenade-View) Stateroom
The Oasis of the Seas features 18 of these unique staterooms located on deck # 7 of the ship. These interior staterooms offer a view of the magnificent Royal Promenade with bowed windows.

The Promenade-View staterooms offer 194 square feet of living space with two twin beds (can convert into queen-size) and a private bathroom. Three Promenade staterooms out of this category can hold up to five guests.

Ocean-View Staterooms

Category I, H & F - Standard Oceanview stateroom offers two twin beds that can convert into queen-size bed with private bathroom. 179 total square feet.

Category FO - Family Oceanview stateroom offers two twin beds that can convert into queen-size bed. Stateroom also includes a sofa, which can be converted into a double bed and two pullman beds. Stateroom includes private bathroom with shower and vanity area with chair. Stateroom can hold up to 6 guests. 271 total square feet.

Central Park View/Balcony

Category CV (Central Park Outside View) / Category C2, C1 (Central Park Balcony View)
The Central Park view staterooms offer guests a great opportunity to relax in their stateroom while overlooking beautiful Central Park. Guests will have the opportunity to choose two different types of Central Park View staterooms, which offer a window or balcony.

Category CV (Central Park Outside View) provides a panoramic window to view Central Park. This stateroom offers 199 total square feet of living space with two twin beds that convert to a queen size bed. This stateroom also features a private bathroom with shower and vanity area with chair and sofa. Central Park Outside View staterooms are located on deck # 9 of the ship.

Category C2 & C1 (Central Park Balcony View) provides a private balcony for guests to step outside and overlook Central Park. This stateroom offers 182 square feet of living space + a private balcony, which is 52 square feet. Category C2 & C1 provide two twin beds that convert to a queen size bed. This stateroom also features a private bathroom with shower, vanity area with chair and sofa.

Boardwalk View/Balcony

Category BV (Boardwalk Outside View) / Category B2, B1 (Boardwalk Balcony View)
The Boardwalk view staterooms offer guests a great opportunity to relax in their stateroom while overlooking the active Boardwalk neighborhood. Guests will have the opportunity to choose two different types of Boardwalk View staterooms, which offer a window or balcony.

Category B2 & B1 (Boardwalk Balcony View) provides a private balcony for guests to step outside and overlook the Boardwalk. This stateroom offers 182 square feet of living space + a private balcony, which is 52 square feet. Category B2 & B1 provide two twin beds that convert to a queen size bed. This stateroom also features a private bathroom with shower, vanity area with chair and sofa.

Balcony Ocean-View Staterooms

Category D8, D7, D6, D5, D4, D3, D2 & D1 - Superior Oceanview stateroom with private balcony. Features two twin beds that can convert into queen-size bed. Stateroom also features sitting area (some with sofa bed), private balcony and private bathroom. 182 square feet + 50 square foot balcony.

NOTE: Category D1 has a larger balcony that is 80 square feet.

NOTE: Some D4 & D3 categories can hold up to 5 guests.

AquaTheater View Suites

Category A3, A2 & A1 - The AquaTheater Suites offer a variety of different views with a wrap around balcony. Guests can enjoy a view of the ocean, boardwalk and AquaTheater. These staterooms offer a marble entry, living area with sofa that converts to a double bed, entertainment center and dining room. Two bedrooms with beds which convert to queen-size beds and two pullman beds are available. Vanity with chair are available in each bedroom. Two bathrooms, master bath with tub. Private elegant and high hand balcony with table & chairs. Dry bar with mini refrigerator. Stateroom can hold up to 8 guests.

A3 - 673 square feet + 610 square foot balcony
A2 - 739 square feet + 695 square foot balcony
A1 - 823 square feet + 772 square foot balcony

Oasis of the Seas Loft Suites

The new loft suites redefine cruising accommodations with their ample living apace and double height ceilings. The loft suites are the highest accommodations onboard the Oasis of the Seas. They will provide magnificent views of the ocean with floor to ceiling panoramic windows. These standard 25 Loft suites will also provide a balcony with sun chairs that will allow guests to relax and unwind.

Each standard Loft suite (Crown) will be approximately 545 square feet and provide two floors with an upper-level bedroom that overlooks the living area. The lofts will provide a contemporary decor mixed with a Caribbean style influence. Each loft will feature LCD flat-screen televisions, separet vanity areas, a guest bathroom downstairs and a master bathroom upstairs.

In addition to the 25 standard loft suites on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas, there are also two other types of loft accommodations, which are the Sky Loft Suite and the Royal Loft Suite. The Sky Loft Suites are bigger than the standard Crown Loft Suites by providing 722 square feet of living space. These suites will provide more living room space, separate dining rooms that accommodate four guests, larger balconies and also teh option to connect staterooms.

The Royal Loft Suite is the largest of all loft suites onboard the Oasis of the Seas and is made to accommodate up to 6 passengers. The 1,524 square foot suite will feature a Baby Grand Piano, indoor and outdoor dining rooms that seat eight, wet bar, library, private balcony with LCD television, entertainment area and Jacuzzi.
